Workbook vs. Activities Online

Q: Why should I purchase the Auto Upkeep Workbook if all of the activities are available online for free?

A: We like to provide instructors and students with choices. Every activity online is also in the Auto Upkeep Workbook, but the workbook has additional content, over 200 pictures, and is reasonably priced.

Purchase Orders

Q: Do you accept purchase orders?

A: Yes, we accept purchase orders from schools, companies, and bookstores. You can fax your purchase order to 1-800-918-READ or email it to us at info@autoupkeep.com.

Shipping Account Number

Q: Can I use my own shipping account number for FedEx or UPS?

A: Yes, if you would like your order shipped on your shipping account, please supply instructions and your account number with your order

Standard Shipping Method

Q: What is your standard shipping method and what shipping methods are available?

A: Our standard shipping method for larger packages is FedEx Ground. For orders of 1 to 2 books we generally ship US Mail.

Standard Shipping Cost

Q: What will it cost to ship my order?

A: We charge $4.00 for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book.
The Auto Upkeep Textbook/Workbook Set and Auto Upkeep Homeschool Kit each contain 2 books, so calculate the shipping by counting 2 books per set or kit. This price is for our standard shipping. If you need your order expedited we will add the actual cost of shipping to your order.

Shipping to Canada and Other Countires

Q: What is your standard shipping method to Canada and other countries?

A: We will ship your order via USPS (First-Class Mail® International, Priority Mail® Flat Rate Box , or Priority Mail® International) or FedEx International Ground, unless you request another shipping method and supply your shipping account number.

USPS International Mail to Canada

  • Orders generally take 6-10 days for delivery.
  • This is usually the most cost effective and hassle free way to ship to Canada.
  • We recommend USPS International Mail (formerly Airmail) for most single package orders.
  • USPS First Class Mail International (formerly Surface Mail) is only used small orders.

FedEx to Canada

  • Orders generally take 4-10 days for delivery.
  • This is usually the most cost effective and hassle free way to ship multiple packages to Canada.

Duties, Import Taxes, GST and/or Brokerage Fees

Q: Who pays Duties, Import Taxes, GST and/or Brokerage Fees?

A: These fees are the responsibility of the Buyer. The shipping charge on your order pays for transportation only (the actual cost of shipping) and does not include payment for duties, import taxes, GST and/or brokerage fees. Orders shipped to most countries outside of the United States are subject to duties, taxes, broker fees and customs fees when the order is delivered. If you are concerned about these fees, please check with your customs office before placing your order.

Payment Security

Q: Is my payment with PayPal secure?

A: We use PayPal payment processing services. When you click to check out and pay for your shopping cart order, the payment and/or your credit card information is placed on PayPal's site. We never see your credit card number, only that an order has been placed and paid for. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs.
