  • Inspect the disc brakes on a vehicle.

Drivetrain Activities

  • Identify and locate the transmission on a vehicle.
  • Identify the location of the drive shaft.
  • Identify the location of the constant velocity shafts and/or U-joints.
  • Check the transmission fluid.

Exhaust and Emissions Activities

  • Inspect the tail pipe, intermediate exhaust pipe, and exhaust pipe.
  • Inspect the muffler and catalytic converter.
  • Identify the oxygen sensor, PCV valve, charcoal canister, and EGR valve.
  • Inspect the exhaust system for leaks.
