Stain Treatment

Not all treatment products should be used on all stains and materials. Try to identify your vehicle’s upholstery or carpet fabric and what caused the stain. Leather is especially unique. Find a product that best fits the stain and material. Follow the product instructions, which usually includes testing the product first in a hidden area to avoid potential discoloration problems. Without spreading the stain any further, remove any loose material with a vacuum, brush, or clean rag. Blot the stain with a white paper towel or clean white rag to draw the stain out. Apply the stain remover as directed. Repetition may be needed to lift the stain. Finally clean the whole area. If you only spot treat the stain the surrounding area may appear dirty.
